How to stick to a resolution?
Though many people try different resolutions each year, by the end of a week or two they fade away. Here I am giving you some time tested rules that help you to stick to it.
1. One resolution at a time: Don’t over indulge yourself by making more resolutions. This is one of the major causes of failure. So stick to one resolution. Start another one only when you finished the first.
2. Begin Small: Don’t make BIG changes. Small incremental changes are more effective than drastic changes. Spend 10 min each day for your resolution.
3. Commit publicly: Declare your new resolution to the family and friends; this will add some positive public pressure. Accountability matters.
4. Be consistent: The more you repeat, the more consistent you can become. Do not miss a day.
5. Enjoy the change: As you progress, keep enjoying the new change in you. It acts as a great motivator.
